Newspaper and Magazine Articles

Microtrace has appeared in numerous local, national and international newspaper and magazine articles to explain the significance of trace evidence and microscopic analysis to the general public.

Television

Microtrace is routinely consulted by national and international media to provide independent scientific evaluation, consult on trace evidence in topical cases and discuss previous casework and our analytical methods.

Books

Many of the cases we've worked on in over the years have been turned into true crime books that discuss the contribution Microtrace microscopists have made to the case.

Technical Articles and Books

Our unique problem solving skills in microscopy and microchemistry can be applied to a wide range of materials beyond forensic trace evidence.  To expose the applications of these techniques to other industries, Microtrace routinely writes articles for or is interviewed by trade journals in a wide range of disciplines.  In addition, we have written chapters in a variety of technical scientific books.

Talks

In addition to daily casework, Microtrace scientists are continually exploring new analytical methods, developing new approaches to analysis, and characterizing new materials. Throughout the year, we are present these results at conferences and courses. Here you will find a list of partial list of presentations given by Microtrace scientists.
