A Microchemical Christmas

This year we take you beneath the Christmas tree
of a chemical microscopist from the early 1900's
How many of the pieces of microchmical glassware,
instuments and apparatus can you recogniz?
Some of them may be difficult to see because they are so small-- so
don't forget to look closely. Only one piece of apparatus
is being used. Can you tell which on it is?
